Dear Alumni and Friends:
A life-long dream of Holly Hill Academy has been to create the HHA Education Foundation consisting of alumni and friends of the academy in order to perpetuate HHA’s mission of serving the educational needs of the Holly Hill community. The Long-Range Planning Committee and the Board of Directors have given me the privilege of launching this dream.
The mission of the foundation is simple: To provide personal, professional, and financial support for the educational, social, and future growth of HHA. Our vision is to organize an alumni association of former graduates to help build a network of alumni, businesses, and community resources to ensure the mission and growth of HHA.
We need your help. If you would like to volunteer to serve on the HHA Education Foundation Steering Committee, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may call us at (803) 496-3243.
We also ask that you support us with your financial gifts. You may make your tax-deductible gift by check to the HHA Education Foundation or by Pay Pal, an online payment agency that has a proven record of success and security. For further information regarding donations, please visit our new website which will roll out on July 27.
The money donated to the foundation will be used to provide tuition assistance for needy students, financial support for educational technology initiatives, and funds for instructional programs in the school. It is essential and vital to our future success that we all continue to bolster our school.
We look forward to hearing from you. We are encouraging our alumni to make donations for the current school year by October 1, 2014. The alumni, along with business and community leaders, will be invited to a reception social in the fall. There you will see a detailed presentation outlining the future goals and plans for the foundation.
