Holly Hill Academy is an independent school that serves K5-12th grade. The faculty and staff are committed to academic excellence. We are dedicated to preparing today’s youth for challenges of tomorrow. Our desire is to provide a rigorous, challenging curriculum in a safe environment.
Our teachers love their subjects, enjoy teaching their students, and expect them to do a great deal of work in order to excel. Our students have been accepted by the colleges of their choice. Our graduates have attended a variety of post-graduate programs, and many alumni send their children to HHA to gain the educational experience that they loved. HHA is accredited by AdvancED. This is one of the highest national certifications that a school can receive.
Along with our rigorous academic program, we are a family. We put others first. We support each other. We have academic and personal integrity. The Holly Hill Academy Honor Code holds our students accountable for their actions and words.
HHA is dedicated to establishing the love and joy of learning in each individual student. Through small classes, partnerships, and cooperative efforts of the Board, administration, faculty, student body, home, and community, our students have the opportunity to grow intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually.
HHA is founded on Christian principles. We believe worship and character education go hand-in-hand with intellectual and social development. Our thirty minute weekly chapel service provides an opportunity to inspire students to think about how they can lead lives of purpose, faith, and integrity.
HHA’s school spirit is an evident element in our everyday atmosphere. It is the unseen tone that is set by all faculty, staff, administration, and board members. Our slogan, “Discipline, Determination, and Dedication,” reminds our students to work harder towards their goals, to do their best in their academics, and to be dedicated to see their goals through to the very end.
Here at HHA, we believe a well organized athletic program is an important part of a student’s overall development. Athletics teaches students teamwork, motivation, and self-discipline. Our athletic program instills values of leadership, good judgment, maturity, sportsmanship, and school spirit. It also creates a healthy body and high self-esteem.
