Holly Hill Academy is looking for full-time dedicated Elementary Teachers for 1st - 4th grade to become a part of our elementary team. These positions will require someone who is flexible with lower school students and can communicate well with parents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • Direct and evaluate student learning experiences

  • Provide guidance to students to promote education development and welfare

  • Supervise student activity on school property

  • Plan and coordinate the instructional program in accordance with the current curricula

  • Proficiency and ability to teach the written foreign language and the spoken foreign language

  • Maintain COVID-19 safety guidelines in the classroom

  • College transcripts, three references, and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process

  • Bachelor’s degree or above. 

  • Meets and instructs assigned classes

  • Responsible for all library activities and contents. 

  • Establishes clear objectives for all class activities and communicates these objectives to students.

  • Employs a variety of instructional techniques consistent with related arts and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved

  • Utilizes effective classroom management strategies

  • Takes all the necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities

  • Maintains accurate, complete and correct records 

  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The job requires the ability to perform the following duties:

  • Drive safely along designated routes.

  • Obey traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations.

  • Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations.

  • Follow a specific timetable while on duty.

  • Assist passengers to get on the bus.

  • Prevent or stop unruly behavior from passengers.

  • Communicate with passengers and employers regarding delays or any issues along a route.

  • Check the bus tires, lights, wipers, and oil when needed for basic maintenance.

  • Additional duties may vary.

  • To ensure safe travel, bus drivers must operate vehicles with great care.

  • Must also ensure that passengers are safe from harm from within the bus.
